Guests at CrossFunction’s Inaugural Founder’s Celebration were interviewed with a series of questions about one of business’s most important topics: the office. What does your dream office look like? Yolkdrop, an absurdist indie outfit from the Chicago suburbs, released the lead single from their debut album. “Mary Shelley’s a Goth Chick” marries irreverent humor with a love story about Frankenstein author, Mary Shelley. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by CrossFunction’s studio manager and head audio producer, Grant Mitchell.

Noah Kankanala has carved out quite a name for himself among the midwest indie-folk scene. He burst on the scene with his debut album, Slip Away, in 2018 and has been performing regularly ever since. It recently received recognition on indiefolkradio’s “Working Day” Spotify playlist.

Legendary Jazz Drummer, Steve Houghton, and His Combo Perform "Shade of Jade"

Steve Houghton is an internationally renowned jazz drummer, percussionist, clinician, author, and educator. He has played with jazz legends like Freddie Hubbard, Joe Henderson, Rufus Reid and many more. 

Backed by some of his students at Indiana University, he performs the Joe Henderson classic “Shade of Jade”. This track was recorded, mixed and mastered by CrossFunction’s studio manager and head audio producer, Grant Mitchell, at Indiana University.
